Sustainable Livelihood Center

Model Farming

Majority of people in Myanmar are depending on agriculture. However, the level of sustainability for framer is very low as higher cost, lower profit and land are destroyed. Therefore, it becomes the important topic for us to work with framers and find the lower cost approach for sustainability. Currently farming is an important activity at our center. In farming, we are working on soil management, seeding and plant production, organic and natural fertilizer, pest control, mix cropping farm. In addition, we conduct training and workshop talking about the concepts and teaching techniques of ecological farming for local farmers.
